Man Eaters!

I had blogged about "man eaters" on 1/8/07 and here I am a full year later complaining about the same exercise. I felt a bit paralyzed after I did them last time. However, today I am sore, on Advil and am a bit whiny, but not paralyzed from them.

Man Eater

Take a set of 20# dumbbells (ladies) and start a burpee (go to the floor, do a full push up on the weights) then staying in that plank position row with your right arm (pull the weight up to your chest as you stay in a plank position.) Then do your left arm. Pop up landing on heels, like you do with a burpee. Do a full squat clean with the weights and then thruster them up over head.

That's one.

Please try it and let me know what you think. I will try to make a little video of me doing one, but we'll see. It won't be anytime soon! OUCH!

Oh man those sound painful!! For that WOD did you alternate arms for the dumbbell OHS? Or do that many reps per arm?

Next time I need to make up my own WOD I'm trying this bad boy :)

I've done those before but we called em Man Makers. Oh, yes, they suck... in a good way.
